Shopify Exact Online integration: how the connection works with Stockpilot
A Shopify Exact Online integration through Stockpilot pulls every order from Shopify and creates it in Exact Online as a sales order, with customer, products, shipping costs and the right VAT code. Once the order is fulfilled, Stockpilot creates the delivery and the invoice in Exact automatically, at the booking moment you choose: on receipt, on shipment or on completion. This works for Shopify and Shopify Plus, without an app in your Shopify store: the connection runs through the APIs of both systems.
The Shopify Exact Online integration works with Exact Online Trade (Handel) and Premium. You connect Shopify and Exact to Stockpilot, configure SKU mapping, ledger accounts and VAT codes yourself, and the connection runs on its own from then on. Sync Exact Online and Shopify: two-way inventory and orders
Inventory flows both ways. A change in Exact reaches Shopify in real time, and a sale in Shopify is booked as a stock movement in Exact. No overselling in your webshop, and your Exact stock is correct at the end of every day. A return is processed in Exact automatically as a credit note.
Orders from Shopify are processed in Stockpilot, with shipping labels through Sendcloud, MyParcel or DHL, or forwarded with routing rules to Exact, your WMS or a fulfilment partner. Per channel you choose whether orders land on one debtor or each customer is created separately in Exact.

Shopify Plus Exact Online integration: multiple stores, one Exact
Running several Shopify stores, for example per country, you connect them all to the same Exact administration, each with its own debtor and VAT code. Shopify Plus merchants with B2B customers can have each customer created as its own debtor in Exact.
